Truss, decks, LED walls, PA and audience from the library. Fixtures hang on the truss in one click. Fog machines make real smoke, and the beams show where it goes.
Select, then set. Dimmer, position, color, gobo and beam on their own tabs. Fan across the selection, Odd and Even, a Slow mode for fine positioning.
One color for the whole rig. Each fixture gets there with what it has: RGB, RGBW, RGBWA+UV, CMY or a slot on its color wheel.
19 templates, from Chase to Circle. Speed in beats per minute and cycle length in beats, so effects stay on the music. Spread, groups, blocks and wings.
Nine per page, as many pages as you need, and nine quick keys that stay on every page. Choose what each button does: Go, Flash, Temp, Toggle and more.
Go, Follow and Time triggers. A separate time for dimmer, position and color inside one cue. Spread a cue across the fixtures. Edit a whole column of fades at once.
A whole picture on one button. Press to switch it on, press again to switch it off. It mixes over whatever is playing.
MIDI timecode from Reaper, Ableton or Logic, or Art-Net timecode. Import the song's markers and drop cues on them. Record a run by hand, play it back on the clock.
Several laptops on one show. Each operator has their own programmer, the cues are shared. If the main desk drops out, another one takes over in seconds.
Autosave every minute, 40 steps of undo for the whole show, and a confirmation before anything is deleted.

Licence
Download the desk and use all of it: build the rig, program the whole show, rehearse it in 3D, save and open show files. No time limit, no account. To light real fixtures, connect a VIMERA DMX Node. The node is the licence: no serial numbers, no subscription.
Hardware
A small box between the network and the rig. Plug it into the same network as your laptop and it appears in the desk. Choose which universe each output sends, and the fixtures are live. The DMX outputs are isolated, so a fault on the line does not reach the network or the laptop.

FAQ
Yes. You get the whole desk with no time limit and no account: patch, cues, effects, timecode, several operators, the 3D stage, show files. You pay only for a VIMERA DMX Node, when you want to light real fixtures.
No. The desk sends light only to VIMERA DMX Nodes, over its own encrypted connection. Each node carries a certificate, and the desk checks it before it sends anything. Art-Net is still used as an input, for timecode.
Yes, and that is what most people start with. Build the stage in 3D, program every cue, rehearse it on timecode, render a still or a video for the client. When the node arrives, assign its outputs and the show is on the fixtures.
Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit, and macOS 13 or later on Apple silicon and Intel Macs. For the 3D stage with smoke a recent graphics card helps; on a weaker laptop lower the 3D quality.
The desk is new, and Windows shows this for programs it has not seen many times yet. Click More info, then Run anyway. You only do this once. To check the file, compare its SHA-256 with the one in the Download section.
The library has GDTF profiles from over a hundred makers. If yours is missing, download its .gdtf file from the maker or from GDTF Share and drop it on the Patch page. You can also build a profile by hand in the fixture editor.
Play the track in Reaper, Ableton or Logic and send MIDI timecode to the desk. Import the song's markers from Reaper, place cues on them, press GO LIVE. Art-Net timecode from a media server works too.
One node gives two or four universes, depending on the model. For a bigger rig, add more nodes to the network and give each output its universe.
Yes. One desk hosts the show, others join over the network. Everyone has their own programmer, the cues, presets and patch are shared. Only the host sends light, and if it drops out another desk takes over.

On the first start Windows may show "Windows protected your PC". Click More info, then Run anyway. On a Mac, open the .dmg and drag VIMERA into Applications. When macOS asks to find devices on your local network, click Allow, or the desk will not see the node.
